Molnupiravir

Antiviral drug used for the treatment of COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2. Molnupiravir is a prodrug of N⁴-hydroxycytidine that is intracellularly converted to an active ribonucleoside triphosphate and incorporated into viral RNA, causing accumulation of mutations and inhibition of viral replication
