Cefmetazole acid

Semisynthetic cephamycin β-lactam antibiotic used for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections. Cefmetazole inhibits bacterial cell-wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins and interfering with peptidoglycan cross-linking. It has activity against a range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria
